What is lip filler?
Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid gel injected into the lips to add subtle volume, definition, and hydration. Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin, results look and feel natural, and they are fully reversible.

How long does lip filler last?
Most people enjoy their results for about six to twelve months. Lips are active, so they can metabolize filler a little faster, and a simple touch-up keeps your look refreshed.
Will my lips look natural or overdone?
Natural. We don't overfill. Our approach is to enhance your lips toward the goals you have in mind while keeping your results balanced and natural-looking, so your lips still look like yours, just refreshed. When it serves your result, we build gradually across visits rather than overdoing it in one sitting.
Does it hurt, and how much swelling should I expect?
The filler contains numbing medication and we apply a topical numbing cream, so most people feel only a quick pinch. Some swelling and tenderness is normal for the first one to three days, and occasional light bruising can occur. Your lips settle into their final look over about two weeks.
What is the difference between lip filler and a lip flip?
Lip filler adds volume and shape with hyaluronic acid. A lip flip uses a small amount of neurotoxin to gently roll the upper lip outward for a subtly fuller look without adding volume. Some clients combine the two, and we'll help you choose the right path.
Is lip filler reversible?
Yes. Because it is made of hyaluronic acid, lip filler can be dissolved with an enzyme if you ever want to adjust or reverse your results.
